Language Training in McLean, Virginia
There are various levels of foreign language proficiency that describe one’s performance abilities. When it comes to learning a language, students gain the most from their studies when they are taught to their unique performance levels. At Critical Language Center, we offer language training in McLean, Virginia, and at customer sites, based on the students’ individual assessments and tailor our curriculum to their needs. We gauge our students’ competencies in the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing, in addition to translation (full, summary, gist, audio, sight), interpretation (consecutive, simultaneous), transliteration and intercultural communication as needed by professional linguists. Based on this assessment, we determine which level of study is best suited to their needs.
