Critical Language Center (CLC) offers classes for children starting at age 5 through high school
Classes are offered Monday through Friday after school from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Language classes for your kids incorporate both classical and spoken language. CLC’s highly trained instructors create a unique learning experience within a culturally nurturing environment using modern technology in the classroom.
Introductory Level A (ages 5-6): This class exposes your child to the target language and culture through fun activities, songs, games, stories, and small crafts. No textbook is used in this class.
Introductory Level B (ages 7-9): This class introduces the alphabet and enables the student to identify and copy the letters.
Intermediate Level C (ages 10-11): By the end of this level students will be able to recognize the letters, pronounce correctly all sounds, and be able to read simple words and short phrases.
Intermediate Level D (ages 12-13): By the end of this level students will be able to write sentences using familiar vocabulary with emphasis on sentence structure and basic grammar.
Secondary Level (ages 14+ years ): By the end of this level students will be able to read and write simple phrases and sentences about familiar topics and experiences by using the present, past and future tenses.
